§ 1 — Meaning of the string Q118·Q120
"landcros" is the registered brand/trademark of Hitachi Construction Machinery - coined from LAND and initials of Customer, Reliable, Open, Solutions.
[ˈlændkɹɒs]
§ 2 — Mission and purpose Q133
The .landcros top-level domain is intended to benefit Internet users by
enabling Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter \"The
Company\") to communicate more easily, securely and effectively with all
Internet users, and particularly with its customers, employees and
affiliates. The TLD will serve as a dedicated branding, technology and
services platform for The Company\'s mission and its businesses.
Mission and purpose. Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. is a
Corporation headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, operating in construction and
mining machinery. The purpose of the .landcros TLD is to provide a
trusted, exclusively controlled namespace --- operated by or on behalf
of The Company --- for the distribution and exchange of information
among The Company and its stakeholders via websites, applications, email
and other online services that reside within the .landcros space. By
consolidating The Company\'s online presence under a single
authoritative TLD, .landcros gives users a reliable signal of
authenticity and reduces the risk of phishing, spoofing and brand abuse.
Intended registrants and users. .landcros is a single-registrant
\".brand\" TLD operated under ICANN Registry Agreement Specification 13.
The Company will be the sole registrant: it initially intends to reserve
all names within the TLD for itself and to register and use second-level
domains for its own purposes. Any third-party use of a domain would
occur only under a contract with The Company that limits use to purposes
The Company specifies, enforced through monitoring and prompt action.
The users of the TLD are The Company\'s customers, employees, partners
and affiliates worldwide, who will rely on .landcros domains to reach
The Company\'s official online services.
Activities to achieve this purpose. The Company will use .landcros
domains for its corporate and product websites, customer-facing
services, secure communications and email, and may provide related
services such as hosting, content delivery and marketing under the TLD.
The Company already maintains a domain portfolio of over 46 domains. The
.landcros TLD extends and protects The Company\'s established Internet
presence under a namespace it fully controls.
Sustainability over time. The Company is a long-established organization
with over 75 years of history (founded 1951), a group comprising the
Company and 81 consolidated subsidiaries, approximately 25,304 employees
and JPY 1,405,493 million (fiscal year ended March 2026) in annual
revenue, giving it the financial and operational capacity to sustain the
registry over the long term. Because .landcros is a single-registrant
.brand TLD tied directly to The Company\'s own name and business, its
purpose is inherently stable and endures for as long as The Company
operates.

Confirm that the applied-for string is not a “generic string” in which the applying entity intends to limit registrations exclusively to a single person or entity.
