§ 2 — Mission and purpose Q133
I. Mission and Purpose
1. Mission: As applicant and potential registry operator for ".人工智能" (xn--gmqr38alogxt2a), we are committed to operating an open, secure, and reliable global domain name system. We provide the ".人工智能" namespace to serve users worldwide, while leveraging the native-language advantage of a Chinese-character TLD to offer intuitive and memorable identifiers for Chinese-speaking communities, lowering access barriers and facilitating the aggregation of Chinese-language AI content. Our mission is to serve as a trusted technical foundation for global AI-related information exchange.
2. Purpose: We aim to promote global recognition and usage of ".人工智能", with particular emphasis on Chinese-speaking communities, enabling users to access resources in their native language. To this end, we open registration to all eligible registrants and provide a simple, memorable identifier system, thereby encouraging the organization, sharing, and collaboration of AI-related content, with the goal of gradually establishing it as a meaningful namespace for recording and expressing AI information.
II. Registrants
Registration is open to any natural person, legal entity, or organization worldwide, without restrictions on geography, industry, or status. We encourage AI researchers, developers, technology companies, educational institutions, open-source communities, creators, and others to use ".人工智能" domain names for project documentation, algorithm demonstrations, model sharing, technical blogs, online courses, product introductions, and other similar content, facilitating the broad-based development of AI technologies.
III. Users
Users are global Internet visitors who will access various public content and service entry points through ".人工智能" domain names to obtain AI-related information, technical achievements, and application examples. A clear domain structure helps users identify content types and sources, improving information retrieval efficiency and trust.
IV. Related Activities
We encourage all parties to use ".人工智能" domain names for publishing and sharing AI-related content according to their own needs. The registry plans to raise TLD awareness through online outreach, participation in industry conferences, and establishing connections with AI technology communities and educational institutions, gradually fostering a diverse domain usage environment.
V. Long-Term Sustainability
1. Open for global registration, ".人工智能" benefits from the rapid development and widespread application of artificial intelligence, with foreseeable market demand and a sizeable potential user base. As AI becomes deeply integrated across industries and digital transformation progresses, ".人工智能" possesses certain commercial value and growth potential.
2. We have established a comprehensive system for domain name registration, resolution, management, and security protection. Backed by a professional team and sufficient funding, we ensure high system availability and data security, providing foundational support for the long-term, stable operation of ".人工智能".
3. We commit to complying with all applicable ICANN requirements, and we will establish and continuously improve security monitoring and incident response mechanisms to mitigate domain name abuse, malicious attacks, and objectionable content. We will uphold the reputation of the ".人工智能" domain and ensure the security, stability, and trustworthiness of the domain name system.
