§ 1 — Meaning of the string Q118·Q120
A global clothing brand
/hæ.lˈɑːɹɹə/
§ 2 — Mission and purpose Q133
HALARA is a global, digitally native clothing brand that infuses activewear-inspired functionality into everyday apparel. HALARA designs comfortable, versatile and expressive clothing intended to support consumers as they move through work, exercise, travel and daily life. Its community-driven design process incorporates customer feedback into product development, while its in-house fabric innovation combines performance, comfort and style. HALARA also employs a demand-driven production model intended to better align inventory with consumer demand and reduce the overproduction associated with traditional fashion cycles.
The mission and purpose of the .HALARA gTLD are to:
(1) establish a trusted, hierarchical and intuitive online namespace through which consumers can identify and access authentic HALARA information, products, services and digital experiences;
(2) protect HALARA’s global online presence, brand identity, trademarks and other intellectual property rights;
(3) provide a secure and authoritative channel for HALARA’s e-commerce, customer-service, marketing, promotional and community-engagement activities;
(4) improve consumer navigation by providing short, memorable and recognizable Internet addresses associated exclusively with HALARA and authorized HALARA initiatives; and
(5) support HALARA’s continued innovation and international growth by creating a flexible digital platform capable of accommodating new product categories, geographic markets, collaborations, technologies and consumer services.
The .HALARA gTLD is intended to function as an authoritative source identifier for HALARA-related content and commerce. Internet users will be able to recognize that websites operating within the namespace are controlled by, affiliated with or expressly authorized by HALARA. This trusted environment will help consumers distinguish official HALARA websites and services from unauthorized websites that may engage in counterfeiting, cybersquatting, phishing, fraud, distribution of malware or other harmful conduct.
Halara anticipates introducing the .HALARA gTLD through a measured and controlled rollout. Initial registrations may be used for technical testing, corporate communications, product information, customer support and selected marketing or e-commerce initiatives. Following successful implementation, the Applicant may expand the namespace for use by its affiliates, regional operations and appropriately authorized business partners, licensees, service providers or collaborators, subject to applicable registration and use requirements.
Through this approach, .HALARA will provide a sustainable, differentiated, secure and innovative digital environment that supports HALARA’s mission of creating community-informed apparel that blends performance, comfort and personal expression and is “made for what moves you.”
