§ 2 — Mission and purpose Q133

1. Mission and Purpose of the .ramp gTLD

The .ramp gTLD is a closed, single-registrant brand TLD operated by Ramp to support its mission to save businesses time and money. The TLD will provide a secure, trusted, and controlled namespace for Ramp’s products, services, platforms, and digital properties, and will be used for both internal and external purposes.

The goal of the .ramp gTLD is to promote and reinforce the Ramp brand while operating at high levels of security, reliability, and trust. The TLD will enable authenticated and verifiable domain usage, reducing risks associated with abuse, phishing, and impersonation, and improving secure access to Ramp’s services and financial tools.

Consistent with Specification 13, registration of domain names in the .ramp TLD will be limited to Ramp, its Affiliates, and, where applicable, its Trademark Licensees (as defined in Specification 13 of the Base Registry Agreement). Domain names registered to such entities will be used solely for activities reasonably related to the promotion, support, distribution, or provision of Ramp’s services.

Through these controls, the .ramp gTLD will function as a trusted and authenticated namespace supporting Ramp’s role as a provider of financial technology solutions that improve efficiency, automate operations, and enhance visibility into business spending.

2. Sustainability of the Purpose Over Time

The purpose of the .ramp gTLD is sustainable over time because it is directly aligned with Ramp’s core business, long-term strategy, and mission.

The .ramp TLD will remain integral to Ramp’s operations by supporting secure service delivery, enabling trusted interactions with customers and partners, and reinforcing the Ramp brand across evolving digital platforms.

As a closed, single-registrant TLD, .ramp will remain fully under Ramp’s control, ensuring consistent governance, strong security standards, and operational stability. Ongoing investment in Ramp’s technology, products, and services will further support the continued relevance and use of the TLD as a trusted and secure namespace within the digital ecosystem."

Spec 11 §3(d) statement Q184

The applied-for gTLD is intended to qualify as a .Brand TLD pursuant to Specification 13 of the Base Registry Agreement and is not a "generic string" within the meaning of Section 3(d) of Specification 11. The applied-for string is identical to the Applicant's registered trademark and will be operated solely as a closed, single-registrant brand TLD.

Registration of domain names within the TLD will be limited to the Applicant, its Affiliates, and, where applicable, its Trademark Licensees, in accordance with Specification 13. The TLD will not be operated as an open or generic registry and will not offer domain name registrations to the general public or otherwise permit exclusive registration practices that would conflict with Section 3(d) of Specification 11.

Accordingly, because the applied-for string is a qualifying .Brand TLD rather than a generic string, the Applicant's intended operation of the TLD does not present any conflict with Section 3(d) of Specification 11.
