From monarchy, leadership, and heritage to chess, performance, fashion, popular culture, personal identity, and the natural world, the term carries meanings that are both enduring and continually reinterpreted. .QUEEN provides a memorable digital identity for the people, organizations, businesses, communities, and ideas connected to them.
Intended registrants include performers and creators, cultural and heritage organizations, pageant participants and organizers, leadership initiatives, chess organizations and players, sports and fan communities, beekeepers and entomology organizations, hospitality businesses, fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands, retailers, events and festivals, businesses incorporating Queen in their names, community groups, and individuals with a meaningful connection to the term. Intended users include audiences, fans, consumers, players, students, visitors, professionals, and communities seeking related entertainment, culture, products, services, education, information, experiences, or opportunities to connect.
Natural and legitimate uses include entertainment and performance; arts and culture; monarchy and heritage; chess; leadership and professional communities; fashion, beauty and lifestyle; hospitality and retail; beekeeping and entomology; events and celebrations; sports and fan communities; personal and creative identities; businesses and organizations using Queen in their names; and other relevant products, services, content, and experiences. Whether referring to a queen on the throne, the chessboard, the stage, or in the hive, .QUEEN provides a distinctive digital identity for a word with an extraordinary range of established meanings. Oinkadot intends to support the development of the namespace through broad registrar distribution, appropriate positioning of .QUEEN for its intended markets, and ongoing awareness of its diverse cultural, creative, educational, scientific, community, and commercial uses.
The purpose is sustainable because "queen" has enduring significance across history, culture, language, chess, nature, entertainment, commerce, and personal expression. Queens have changed history, ruled the chessboard, commanded the stage, and kept the hive buzzing. The continuing evolution of these independent meanings provides a diverse foundation for long-term interest in the .QUEEN namespace.
