Robot refers to intelligent machines capable of perceiving their environment, processing information, making decisions, and executing tasks autonomously or semi-autonomously. With the advancement of technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation control, sensors, machine vision, cloud computing, and large-scale models, robots have been widely applied across numerous fields, including industrial manufacturing, healthcare, logistics and transportation, agriculture, education, scientific research, home services, public safety, aerospace, and many more. However, today, Robot no longer represents just the robotic device itself, but also symbolizes intelligence, automation, innovation, high productivity, and a future of human-machine collaboration.
The mission and purpose of the applicant applying for the "Robot" string are as follows:
First, to establish a dedicated, trustworthy, and highly recognizable Internet namespace for the global robotics industry, providing a unified digital identity for robotics, artificial intelligence, and intelligent manufacturing ecosystems. Through the .robot top-level domain, we aim to connect global robot manufacturers, AI enterprises, automation solution providers, research institutions, universities, developers, investment organizations, and end users, to build an open, innovative, secure, and trustworthy digital ecosystem. This will promote international collaboration and technological innovation in the robotics industry and advance the development of Internet applications for the global intelligent economy.
Second, to foster innovation and development in robotics and artificial intelligence, and to build a global robotics industry ecosystem. We support the development and application of cutting-edge technologies such as robotics, embodied intelligence, autonomous driving, intelligent manufacturing, and human-computer interaction. By connecting enterprises, universities, research institutions, developers, investment organizations, and industry associations, we aim to facilitate cross-regional cooperation and industrial synergy, providing a clear, professional, and trusted online identity for robotics-related products, companies, platforms, and services, thereby enhancing brand influence.
Third, to drive global digital and intelligent transformation, and to advocate for safe, trustworthy, and responsible robotics development. We aim to help various industries leverage robotic technologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, achieve intelligent upgrades, and promote sustainable development. At the same time, we are committed to advancing robotics safety and contributing to a healthy Internet ecosystem.
