§ 2 — Mission et objet Q133

I. Mission and Objectives 1. Mission: As the applicant and registry operator of the “.agent” TLD, our mission is to provide a secure and trustworthy digital identity marker for registrants worldwide associated with “agent” or “intelligent agent.” Within the ICANN framework, we are committed to offering a stable and open domain namespace for the agency services industry and the intelligent technology application sector. 2. Objectives: To establish “.agent” as a widely recognized professional identifier in the fields of agency services and intelligent applications, attracting a broad range of global entities to register and use the TLD. Guided by the principles of encouraging legitimate use and preventing malicious abuse, we aim to progressively build a cyberspace characterized by trusted identities and clearly defined domain relevance.

II. Intended Registrants Intended registrants include but not limited to enterprises, teams, institutions, and individual practitioners engaged in agency services, brokerage activities, and the R&D or deployment of intelligent agent technologies—for example, independent agents, developers, studios, and related service providers.

III. Intended Users Intended users encompass demand‑side stakeholders in the agency services and intelligent technology sectors, including individual and corporate clients seeking agency services, developers seeking technical collaboration, corporate clients looking for solutions, researchers conducting academic studies, as well as investors and the general public interested in the evolution of intelligent services. These user groups act as content visitors and service recipients within the “.agent” domain ecosystem.

IV. Related Activities 1. Enhance the visibility of “.agent” in relevant fields through marketing campaigns and industry partnerships. 2. Based on market feedback and industry demand, organize exchange events for developers and practitioners at appropriate intervals.

V. Statement of Long‑Term Sustainability 1. With the expansion of the global digital economy, online agency services and AI agent technologies are undergoing rapid development. So “.agent” holds significant value in reflecting the business nature of relevant entities. We believe this demand will provide a solid market foundation for the long‑term growth of “.agent.” Moreover, it has broad applicability and does not overly depend on the prosperity or decline of any single niche segment. 2. As the registry, we have deployed dedicated technical and management teams for the launch and ongoing operation of “.agent,” and have established comprehensive operational systems covering domain registration, resolution, marketing, and customer support. 3. We will comply with ICANN’s relevant regulations, continuously monitor and stay informed of legal and regulatory requirements across various regions during global rollout, implement appropriate compliance and security management measures, and proactively monitor and address potential abusive activities.
