1. Mission and Objectives .agent aims to provide a dedicated and trusted namespace for the global AI agent ecosystem. Its mission is to help AI agent developers, service platforms, research institutions, and enterprises establish intuitive online identities, making it easier for Internet users to discover, access, and interact with various intelligent agents, thereby accelerating innovation and collaboration in AI agent technologies. The goal is to establish .agent as a trusted top-level domain within the AI agent field, facilitating human-agent collaboration and enhancing the intelligence of digital services.

Intended registrants include: AI agent platform and framework providers, large model and agent application developers, intelligent customer service and automation enterprises, IoT and edge computing solution providers, AI research institutions, and others. Intended users are global Internet users who, through .agent domains, can quickly identify and trust various AI agent services, gaining a more efficient and secure digital experience.

Relevant activities: Ipollo Tech Ltd will actively promote the value of .agent for AI agent identity and service discovery; organize regular developer conferences to facilitate the exchange of ideas on innovative applications built around .agent; and establish and implement abuse monitoring and rapid response mechanisms to ensure the security and reliability of the namespace.

2. Long-Term Sustainability The AI agent market is currently in a phase of explosive growth, with deployment of intelligent agents expected to scale exponentially, generating sustained long-term demand for dedicated domain names. The company possesses sufficient funding to ensure the stable and continuous operation of .agent and to fully comply with ICANN’s security and compliance requirements. Through reasonable registration pricing, operations will achieve commercial self-sustainability. Ipollo Tech Ltd will consistently uphold the reputation of .agent, making it a trusted online space in the AI era.

Q121As per Section 3(d) of Specification 11 of the Base Registry Agreement, a registry operator of a “generic string” may not impose eligibility criteria for registering names in the TLD that limit registrations exclusively to a single person or entity and/or that person’s or entity’s “Affiliates” (as defined in Section 2.9(c) of the Registry Agreement). “Generic String” means a string consisting of a word or term that denominates or describes a general class of goods, services, groups, organizations or things, as opposed to distinguishing a specific brand of goods, services, groups, organizations or things from those of others. Confirm that the applied-for string is not a “generic string” in which the applying entity intends to limit registrations exclusively to a single person or entity.
